Hum and noise can be a headache in any electronic design. In my experience of laying out amplifiers, mixers and circuit boards, I have come across a multitude of problems regarding hum and noise when laying out component placement and ground and power traces. Through trial and error over the years, I have learned a few tricks to help solve some issues and discovered a couple of things to avoid.
