Design

This is an unbalanced input. The impedance depends on the transformer model.

Secondary (Output)
This is an unbalanced output. The impedance depends on the transformer model.

Magnet Wire
All units are wound with the finest virgin copper magnet wire. All windings use heavy insulated wire to provide excellent manufacturing yield, lower customer cost and superior life.

The Core
EDCOR uses the finest M6 line grain oriented steel cores. Each unit is hand stacked to assure at least 92% stack.

The Bobbin
EDCOR's royal blue bobbin with black finishing tape.

Termination/Mounting
This unit is designed for printed circuit board mounting. For footprint and suggested hole and pad size please see the dimensional drawing.

Just what I needed!! AWESOME!
I started taking in more an more ham radio gear, and the older vintage equipment takes high impedance mics, so this is a godsend, so people can use the same microphone they use with their new Icom, Kenwood, Yeasu, Apache Labs, Alpha, etc. with their vintage Collins of Kenwood, and not need to go buy a worn out old Astatic high Z mic, and pray the element is not junk, when it arrives. I am using a good directional Shure mic, and using it with an antique radio transmitter that would have been used during the D Day invasion!!! I also use a high Z mic with my old Heathkit, Collins, EF Johnson, Nye, and other transceivers, but now I can use a Heil, AKG, Neuman, or any mic I choose, with any transmitter I choose, and it won't break the bank or the equipment! ! THANKS! The newer higher end mics are getting excellent reports for audio from other hams I talk to.  It's also fantastic for harmonica amplifiers too! We  need that 15K Ohms for old Webster, EH, Valco, Grommes and other old amps with high Z mic inputs, or my new builds for high Z mic for use with a blues harp!! 73s KI7AQJ
